Position Summary

The purpose of the Commissary Supervisor is to lead the food production of the kitchen supplying the LifeCafes with Meals to Go and other offerings that support the corporate LifeCafe mission and vision.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees and participates in production of Meals to Go for LifeCafes, including, but not limited to, cutting ingredients, cooking ingredients, reading and writing prep lists, and building mealsMaintains kitchen cleanliness including, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, doing dishes, and deep-cleaningConducts ordering, receiving, inventory of raw ingredients with cost control emphasisFollows recipes and leads by example with exceptional attention to detail and food quality focusMaintains great working relationship with team members and members

Position Requirements

High School Diploma or GED3 to 4 years of kitchen experienceExcellent attention to detailAbility to build relationships with members and team membersAbility to troubleshoot problems and resolve conflicts quickly, efficiently, and professionallyAbility to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and verballyAbility to use a computer

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft OutlookSome knowledge of food nutritionKnowledge of professional kitchen environmentsOne to two years high volume kitchen experience
