Job DescriptionOaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is expanding its culinary team and is currently looking for a part-time Commis Chef to work across our breakfast service.

What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare and deliver a high-quality breakfast buffet serviceHandle opening preparation and station setupEnsure food safety and cleanliness standards are upheldAssist in developing menu items and recipesMaintain strong communication between Front and Back of HouseSupport training and supervision of junior kitchen staffMaintain a clean, well-organised kitchen spaceWorking Hours:
Breakfast service: 5.30am until 11.30am.3 to 5 shifts are available per week, including weekend as required.Hourly Rates (excluding super):
Monday - Friday: $28.12 per hour
Saturday: $35.15 per hour
Sunday: $ 42.18 per hour
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within hotel or high-volume settingsCertificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)Understanding of HACCP, OH&S and kitchen hygiene standardsStrong communication and teamwork skillsSelf-motivated and capable of working independently and efficiently, even when under pressureAvailability to work flexible shifts including weekendsOwn reliable transportAdditional InformationAt Minor Hotels, we value our people as the heart of our success.
