We are currently seeking talented and passionate Commis Chef join our Pastry Kitchen at Miraval The Red Sea – a luxury wellness resort committed to mindful living, balance, and exceptional culinary experiences.

Creative pastry professionals with a good knowledge of international pastry production, who are driven by innovation, precision, and wellness-focused food philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute high-quality pastry production.

• Support the Pastry Chef in daily operations

Qualifications:Education Certification

Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, specializing in Pastry or Baking (preferred).

Food Safety and Hygiene certification (mandatory in most regions).

Experience

1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on pastry and bakery.

Prior experience in a hotel, resort, or high-end bakery is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of basic and intermediate pastry techniques (e.g. sponge cakes, tarts, mousses, laminated dough, chocolate work).

Familiar with baking tools, ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment.

Ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines precisely.

Understanding of portioning, storage, and food presentation standards.

Soft Skills

Strong attention to detail and a passion for pastry arts.

Positive attitude and team-player mentality.

Good time management and ability to work under pressure.

Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.

Other Requirements

Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Able to communicate basic English (depending on property language standards).
