Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and passionate Commi 2 Baker to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Commi 2 Baker, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, assisting senior bakers in creating a wide range of high-quality baked goods while honing your skills and contributing to our culinary excellence.
Assist in preparing and baking various types of bread, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and quality standardsMeasure and weigh ingredients accurately, ensuring consistency in all baked productsOperate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other kitchen toolsMonitor baking processes and adjust temperatures or baking times as neededCollaborate with the kitchen team to meet production schedules and deadlinesMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standardsAssist in inventory management and stock rotation of baking ingredients and suppliesSupport senior bakers in developing new recipes and improving existing onesParticipate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledgeQualifications1-2 years of experience in a professional bakery or kitchen settingFood safety certification (required)Culinary diploma or certificate with a focus on baking (preferred)Proficiency in various baking techniques, including bread, pastries, and dessertsSkilled in using baking equipment and following recipes accuratelyStrong time management and organizational skills, with ability to multitaskExcellent teamwork and communication abilitiesUnderstanding of food hygiene and safety standardsKnowledge of ingredient properties and their interactions in bakingPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
