Job Summary:

Trane Technologies Co-Op Program provides current college students with meaningful assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. This Co-Op is offered to candidates working towards their Bachelor's in Engineering, Marketing, or Applied Sciences and will operate full-time as we work with your University towards Academic Credit for your work.

Location:

Hybrid in La Crosse, WI or Pueblo, CO

Commercialization Co-op Responsibilities:

Develop a deep understanding of Trane chiller products, systems, and related competitive offerings.

Support chiller product and systems commercialization efforts, assisting in technical sales training and product promotion initiatives across all chiller businesses.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercialization Leader, Product Support Teams, Product Managers, Engineering, Applications, Systems, and Marketing to execute the commercialization strategy.

Aid in generating, editing, and curating sales and marketing content for various media channels (including product webinars, promotional materials, and technical resources).

Contribute to the creation and delivery of materials and presentations used for field sales training, product positioning, and virtual engagements.

Research competitive landscape and compile insights to assist in the development of “selling stories” and competitive differentiation content to support new product development initiatives.

Maintain and update internal resource hubs (such as training materials and product promotion tools) for channel engagement.

Participate in customer insight activities and virtual/in-person customer engagements under the guidance of the Commercialization Leader.

Work with the team to monitor sales performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for process or messaging improvements.

Successful Candidate’s Profile:

Enthusiastic, innovative team member passionate about customer focus and effective communication.

Must be currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in Engineering, Marketing, or Applied Sciences with a cumulative GPA at or above 3.0 throughout the duration of the program.

Available to work full-time for 6-8 consecutive months (January-August or May-December).

Coursework or experience in Thermodynamics, Mechanical Design, Marketing, or relevant topics preferred.

Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively link responsibilities to team goals.

Zeal for learning new information, knowledge, and experiences in technical and marketing domains.

Ability to prioritize, manage tasks efficiently, and handle multiple projects with attention to deadlines and detail.

Demonstrated leadership through campus organizations, sports, or work projects.

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with digital content platforms is a plus.

U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $22.50 - 31.00/HR

This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
