The Sr. Interior Design Manager is a proven project leader who will ensure each project reflects the retail branch’s current strategy and adheres to established design guidelines. The Sr. Interior Design Manager will be the point of contact for projects and will be accountable to cross-functional team members for managing the design process to develop and deliver design solutions with excellence.
What You’ll Do:
Manage the process of design and implementation of design for retail branch propertiesProvide space planning and design direction (interior and exterior) for new retail locations, renovations and expansionsPresent design solutions visually and verbally to upper management Responsible for engaging and managing the agreements with outsourced architects, engineers and related vendorsReview vendor created documents for adherence to Schwab standards and project specific directionDevelop positive cross-functional working relationships Provide guidance and expertise for selection of furniture, finishes, and artworkDevelop and maintain brand standards and application guidelinesProvide project updates/communicate project status weekly or when called upon to do soProvide clear and concise direction to meet client and company goals. Integrate and leverage colleagues to implement best design solutions. Represent the design department, corporate real estate department and the clients with an exceedingly high level of professionalismAble to travel 25%
We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site four days per week in the specified locations.

Required Qualifications:
Degree in Architecture, Interior architecture, or Interior DesignMinimum of 5 years of experience working in an Architecture or Interiors firm with an emphasis in retail, office, and corporate architectureAn ability to demonstrate successful projects with significant experience in space planning/interior design/architecture for commercial and multi-unit branded environmentsExperience with commercial office systems furnitureHigh level of proficiency utilizing AutoCAD Ability to translate complex project programs into efficient, compelling space plansSignificant experience in the development of branded environments through application of brand standards and instinctive layout of brand messaging, signage, graphics, materials, etc.Comprehension of building codes and accessibility requirements affecting building layout Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with the development and execution of corporate campus projectsExceptional communications skills - ability to professionally address clients, peers, and internal business partners including senior management and outside resources/ external business partnersExceptional time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
