Job Description We’re hiring experienced Commercial Security Technicians to support a growing backlog of work in Alabama. This role involves installing, programming, and troubleshooting commercial burglar alarm systems, CCTV, and access control systems. What You’ll Do + Install and program commercial burglar alarm systems (Honeywell, DMP, Bosch) + Use Compass (Honeywell) and RPS (Bosch) software interfaces for system setup + Install and configure CCTV and card access systems in commercial environments + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with intrusion, CCTV, and access control systems + Provide high-quality customer support and communicate clearly with national accounts + Perform system testing and signal verification + Maintain truck inventory and ensure proper documentation of installations + Train customers on system functionality and ensure satisfaction + Support upgrades, additions, and new installations + Collaborate with team members and assist in mentoring junior technicians What You Bring + 3–6 years of experience installing and programming commercial burglar alarm systems + 2–6 years of experience troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems + Experience with CCTV and access control installation and service + Strong communication and customer service skills + Ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally to customers + High school diploma or vocational training + Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening + Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic Nice to Have + Experience with fire alarm systems (Silent Knight, Firelight, Bosch) + Knowledge of local and national codes + Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters) + BICSI certification Why Apply? + Opportunity for permanent placement with full-time benefits + Strong pay with room for growth based on experience and performance + Clear path for career advancement and performance-based pay increases + Work with a company that values professionalism, training, and internal growth + Full benefits package: health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k) Work Locations + Multiple openings in Birmingham and Huntsville, AL + Field-based role with travel to customer sites Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
