Commercial Sales Leader - Franchise
Job Requirements

The Commercial Sales Leader is responsible for driving top-line revenue and market share performance across all segments of the hotel (Group, Business Transient, Leisure, and Catering) through strategic planning, proactive sales initiatives, and effective team leadership. This role leads the sales team and partners closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations to achieve commercial success.


Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with brand and regional goals.Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, setting performance standards and driving accountability.Identify and capture new business opportunities to increase revenue across all customer segments.Work collaboratively with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory control.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and hotel data to inform business decisions.Oversee sales processes, including RFPs, contracts, proposals, and negotiations.Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote brand visibility.Collaborate with marketing to implement effective promotional campaigns and digital strategies.


Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with progressive leadership roles.Proven success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets and driving team performance.Strong knowledge of commercial functions: Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Distribution.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with hotel sales systems (e.g., Delphi, OnQ, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
