Commercial Project Manager / Project Controller

Our steadily growing High-Voltage Substation group based
out of Raleigh, NC (USA) is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated, and
solution oriented Commercial Project Manager/ Project Controller who will be
responsible for the successful financial controlling and reporting of
construction projects!
You will work together with our technical project
management organization with the main objective of delivering the projects
according to our contractual obligations, project management, and financial
reporting standards!
**How You’ll Make an Impact**
+ Takefull responsibility for all finance-related matters of assigned projects,including Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign Currencies, revenue recognition,contractual invoicing, and compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP, reportingguidelines, and internal controls.
+ Manageand optimize targeted financial results with due professional care,ensuring accurate forecasting of revenue, profit margin, and cash flow ona monthly basis.
+ Ensureaccuracy of cost and pricing calculations, project books and records, andproper system entries (e.g., SAP, iTWO PM Imp@ct), while managingfinancial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
+ Preparecommercial documentation for regular project status meetings, maintainingaccuracy of all commercial project data throughout project execution.
+ SupportProject Managers in identifying and minimizing non-conformance costs,evaluating risks and opportunities, negotiating changes with customers orvendors, and developing strategies and response activities.
+ Contributeto organizational improvement by implementing lessons learned, supportingearly involvement in tenders to improve calculation accuracy, andinterpreting/applying relevant contractual regulations in collaborationwith Project Managers and Procurement.
**What You Bring**
+ BA/BS/Master’sdegree or equivalent experience in Finance/ Business Administration/Accounting or other relevant field in the financial environment
+ 4+years of professional experience in a similar financial project role, witha mandatory project management certification such as PMP or IPMA.
+ Takeownership of projects with a solution- and detail oriented approach,proactively addressing challenges, maintaining open communication, andworking optimally in a team-oriented environment. Capable of multitaskingand meeting deadlines, with ~5% travel required.
+ Strongfinancial and technical expertise with a detailed understanding of GAAPand IFRS, proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, strong analyticalskills, and the ability to read, understand, and apply contractual termsand regulations.
+ Experiencewith construction projects is considered a plus; English at professionalworking proficiency level is required.
+ Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. SiemensEnergy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible forinternal transfers.
