About the role

Responsible for the completion of all commercial/financial related matters of the customer projects (category C). Furthermore supporting the respective Project Manager/ Bid Manager in all other areas with the objective of preparing the bid/ executing the project according to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). A professional collaboration between the CPM and the Project Manager/ Bid Manager is key for the overall project success.


Your Tasks and responsibilities

Drives own empowerment with adequate signature authorization and project target agreement to manage the project Supports the PM/Bid Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care (e.g. project gross profit, cash flow, assets and financing instruments) acts together with PM as owner of the projectActively manages all relevant commercial and financial topics in sales and/or execution phase Ensures an adequate handover phase, analyzes customer’s requirements, examines their commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability. Drives the review and evaluation of the contract conditions incl. all attachments, ensures examination by Legal - Directs and agrees with involved team members (onshore, offshore, site, etc) on all commercial topics Ensures correct methodology for evaluation of risks and opportunities as defined, e.g. in FRG, PM guide Coordinates financial planning of Cat C project together with PM/Bid Manager Supports the PM/ Bid Manager in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities Defines and manages together with the PM/Bid Manager the proper allocation of onshore and offshore portion Ensures the adherence to internal controls, incl. ICFR - Implements applicable tax and delegation concept and ensures synchronization of contract structure therewith Regularly performs lessons learned activities on commercial aspects and feeds results into own project lessons learned activities and into own organizationActively gathers information on customer, strategies, requirements and targets regarding commercial aspects Actively communicates with customer's commercial representatives and manages resolution of commercial issues Actively builds relationships to customer's commercial management Manages customer expectations together with PM


Your qualifications:

Bachelor's degree: Finance, Industrial Engineering or similarFluent English is a must8 Years of experience in Commercial Project ManagementFinancial experience with complex projectsIPMA certification level C is a plus
