The Commercial Product Owner is a key role within the organization that bridges the gap between business strategy, product development, and commercializing offerings, tied explicitly to the digital customer and partner experience. This role is essential for ensuring that the products and services offered by the company align with the overall business objectives and market demands. The Commercial Product Owner will work closely with various business units, market access teams, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and implementation of the business model.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Alignment: Understand customer pain points that require changes in commercial or business models and collaborate across the organization to develop a plan for change that improves digital customer & partner experience.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication and collaboration across various business segments to drive the success of new business models & commercial programs. Build policies that ensure alignment between different business units.

Collaboration: Work closely with the broader sales organization, including sales operations and market access teams, to design and implement commercial programs. Ensure alignment on use cases and revenue growth expectations.

Policy Improvement: Drive improvements in policies where it makes sense. Identify areas for policy enhancement and work with relevant stakeholders to implement changes that benefit the organization and its customers.

Digital Transformation Integration: Represent the businesses in digital transformation initiatives, ensuring that customer and partner-facing experiences are seamlessly integrated across all product offerings. Drive the adoption and processes to enhance the end-to-end customer journey.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

At least 6-8 years of related experience.

Proven experience in commercial program management or a similar role.

Strong understanding of software sales, go-to-market strategies, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to analyze market trends and regulatory changes.

Experience in validating business models and securing funding.

Knowledge of regional regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience working with legal departments on terms and conditions.
