About the team

 

As an intern, you will work in the Commercial Planning Team of Philip Morris' Swiss affiliate. Commercial Planning in the Swiss affiliate serves in the middle of strategic and operational backbone: mid-term planning, short-term initiatives deployment, building capabilities, and enabling frontliners through integrated systems and planning frameworks. It aligns commercial execution with business objectives by coordinating across categories, channels, and stakeholders—ensuring readiness through digital first tools and driving excellence via capability building, performance intelligence, and initiative sequencing. The function also manages governance, digital roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration to optimise operational efficiency and market impact. 

 

Who we’re looking for 

 

Available from February to August 2026

Currently pursuing a Master/bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related area   

Excellent communication skills & organization skills  

Curious, Team-player and highly resilient  

Customer oriented and problem-solving mind  

Ability to prioritize and multi-tasking  

Good attention to details  

Fluent in both written and spoken English, French and/or German a plus.   

 

Roles & Objectives  

 

The intern will work hand in hand with the Commercial System Team, Planning team and Commercial Capability Building team, as well as with selected Swiss market departments, Regional and Global teams to further develop our journey of Efficient, Digitalized and real Multicategory Commercial organisation.  

 

You will give support and  co-plan digital tools deployment with excellence and affiliate’s Commercial digital transformation into its Multicategory Journey 

As an intern, we count on you to achieve these following tasks:   

Co-develop and co-deploy digital e-learning tools 

Co-develop and deployment strategies and tactics for digital-first ecosystems 

Coordinate transparent backlog of “digital First Tasks” 

Communication within affiliate, with region and global functions 

Analyses and reporting of digital tools deployment and their efficiency 

Regular field visit at least per month to be closer to where the business is.
