Job Title: Commercial Painter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Painter with expertise in brush and roll techniques to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential settings, with a strong understanding of painting processes, including preparation and finishing techniques.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize brush and roll techniques to apply paint in a set order, ensuring all surfaces are covered, including floors and walls.Move furniture as necessary to access all painting areas.Perform 'cutting in' by painting straight lines at the top of walls without using painter's tape.Use rollers on extendable poles to cover large areas of drywall or concrete.Patch drywall and sand any divots for cosmetic purposes to ensure walls are properly prepped.Essential SkillsPrior experience painting in a commercial or residential setting.Proficiency in brush and roll techniques, including cutting and trimming.Consistent work history in painting, finish, paint prep, and use of spray gun and roller.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with cutting, caulking, and construction-related painting tasks.Ability to work effectively on both new construction and renovation projects.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on projects primarily within a 40-mile radius of Rochester, typically at new constructions or remodels of office buildings and business parks. Standard work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Become part of a dynamic team of approximately 20 painters actively working on various projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
