As the Commercial Operations Manager, EMEAP (m/f/d) you will drive operational excellence across Europe, Middle East, Africa & Pakistan, focusing on efficiency improvement, margin optimization, and Lean deployment while ensuring outstanding customer service performance. You will work closely with internal teams in Logistics, Marketing, and Sales, as well as external service providers. **What You’ll Do** + Drive operational efficiency across EMEA by implementing Lean principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. + Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in customer-facing processes and standardize workflows in collaboration with internal teams. + Monitor and report key performance indicators (e.g., conversion rates, back orders, distressed inventory) and develop dashboards to support data-driven decisions. + Manage strategic third-party relationships in customer service, call centers, prescription processing, and field support, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. + Support hospital tendering processes and oversee laboratories and field teams acting as both customers and service providers. + Optimize third-party cost, identify efficiency opportunities, and lead initiatives to improve margins and cash flow. + Align procurement strategies with commercial and financial objectives. + Lead cross-functional collaboration across EMEA commercial operations and provide guidance to third-party teams including engineers, clinicians, and nurses. + Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results, while supporting talent development and succession planning. **Required Qualifications & Skills** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (8+ years). + Proven experience in Commercial Operations, Finance, or Margin Improvement roles. + Strong analytical and negotiation skills with ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. + Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Microsoft Office, and data visualization tools. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams. + Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills. + Fluent in English, German language skills are plus **Working at Abbott** At Abbott, you can do work that matters and help people to live a healthier and full life, grow your career, and learn, be your true self.
