Job Description

Interna Grade: D

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join the Commercial Management team, providing services to the UK B2B and B2C business to help reach its financial targets with an acceptable level of commercial and contractual risk.

Reporting to the Lead Senior Commercial Manager, you will help the business from a contractual perspective by supporting, and where required leading, the negotiation and conclusion of commercial contracts with our customers. The team consists of its own legal resource and is supported by other departments in the business including Pricing, Compliance, Regulatory, and the Finance teams to ensure that the wider commercial implications are considered when structuring, negotiating and concluding deals.

You will ensure that appropriate, commercial frameworks, processes and policies are in place to ensure that all necessary deal governance steps are followed so that all the Experian contracts are commercially acceptable, risks are understood and mitigated, appropriate compliance and regulatory standards are met and the deal overall is in the interests of the company and following internal procedures.

Qualifications

Degree qualification or equivalent qualifications

Experience in contracting data, software & solutions in a B2B environment

Strong ability to share knowledge and work well as part of a team; as well as ability to work set team priorities and lead a team

Experience supporting or directly interacting with sales and account managers

Ability to communicate very effectively with senior management

Desirable

A strong knowledge of contract law, contract management or contract structures or data agreements

Degree in Law or qualified lawyer
