Commercial Loan Operations Specialist
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to join our client's team in in the Twin Cities. In this role, you will manage, and process various post-closing tasks related to commercial and construction loan transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and play a key role in supporting long-term client relationships. Responsibilities: • Monitor loan pipelines to ensure timely completion of recurring tasks, such as receiving final documentation and updating project statuses. • Handle loan modifications, and efficiently and within deadlines. • Organize and store required documentation properly within the system, minimizing the use of shared drives. • Process and review draw requests, ensuring all interim and final draws comply with established procedures and guidelines. • Collaborate with builders, borrowers, and inspection companies to ensure smooth execution of construction loans. • Safeguard wire transfers by implementing fraud-prevention measures during draw disbursements. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in project management systems. • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing timely assistance. • Adhere to company policies, federal and state regulations, and information security standards in all activities. Requirements • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial loan operations including: title closing, title abstracting, or mortgage processing. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately. • Solid analytical skills to evaluate project details and make informed decisions based on company policies. • Proficiency in communicating effectively through both verbal and written channels. • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently. • Familiarity with construction loans, loan servicing, and cash management processes. • Ability to work collaboratively and follow written and verbal instructions. • Knowledge of banking operations and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
