Your Role As a Commercial HVAC Refrigeration Technician, you will: Perform scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts Collaborate with dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources Operate a fully stocked service van equipped with an iPad, iPhone, and necessary PPE Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ice machines Conduct preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to minimize downtime Respond to emergency service requests and provide facility condition assessments Participate in facility-related projects and adhere to safety protocols Deliver excellent customer service and complete paperwork promptly Qualifications Experience: 3–6 years in commercial HVAC refrigeration systems Certifications: EPA Certification required Physical Requirements: Ability to climb/descend ladders carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs., and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics) Security & Compliance: Must meet enhanced security clearance, pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks Availability: Flexible to work overtime and travel as needed

Skills:

Install and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs Strong customer service and independent work ethic Familiarity with industry software (preferred but not required) Safety: Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Why Work with BGIS ITS?
