Commercial Finance Specialist

The Commercial Finance Specialist is responsible for daily administration of commercial finance processes, cooperating closely with other departments (division finance, customer service team, local sales support offices, sales representatives) on collecting and maintaining price information.

This role is the main contact person in case of any pricing/rebates queries, assisting in regular price updates (list prices, price increases, policies, and terms), new customer pricing & rebates agreement creation (based on the requests from local sales support or sales representatives), order queries (missing prices or discrepancies on the purchase orders) and generating the commercial reports (price lists, price comparison reports, price increase tracker and others).

The Commercial Finance Specialist reports to the Global Finance Operations Manager within the Pricing and Rebates area of the Global Finance Operations Team.

What You Will Do:

Pricing

Setup and maintain list pricing.Yearly update of list prices for both Bioprocessing and Core in the SAP system.Price increase calculation, execution, and tracking.Springboard requests maintenance, approval, and governance.Create and maintain contract pricing, policies, and terms.Resolve pricing issues.Ad hoc requests from local sales support.Track and resolve issues with orders.Process the requests from Customer Service team in case of missing/incorrect customer pricing.Reach out to Agreement Owner, coordinate the price update in Springboard and report back to the Customer Service team.

Rebates

Rebate agreement set-up.Creating a new rebate agreement via Springboard based on the request from local sales support.Other daily business support for the sales team & divisional finance.Ensure all operating procedures and audit controls are followed.Master data support.Customer grouping – hierarchies – to ensure the adequate pricing set up.Territory and account alignment (SAM).General deal administration and customer contract database maintenance.Data consolidation for reporting and projects.

Position Details:

This is a hybrid role, based out of the King of Prussia, PA office.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 2 years of professional experience or 4 years of professional experience in a related field may be substituted in partIntermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointImmigration sponsorship not available for this role

Standard efficiency with Numeracy and English LiteracyStrong understanding and aptitude toward Commercial FinanceAptitude toward good decision making and diligenceAbility to work independently and a self-starterStrong attention to detail with sensitivity to deadlinesResult-oriented, proactive, and possess a high level of integrity           

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $53,500.00 - $80,300.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
