Commercial Finance Planning Manager
Overview The Commercial Finance Planning Manager plays a critical role in supporting the commercial agenda of PepsiCo Indonesia. The position partners closely with key stakeholders—particularly the Sales Development team and Route-to-Market (RTM)—to deliver insights that drive strategic decision-making, revenue growth, and financial performance. This role will also leads the rolling forecast submission and productivity of commercial P&L. Responsibilities We will count on you to: Develop robust business cases and provide strategic recommendations on revenue management initiatives to optimize topline and profitability. Collaborate with Route-to-Market (RTM) and Sales Development to explore and evaluate go-to-market (GTM) models, particularly for Traditional Trade (TT). Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to support commercial planning and maintain competitiveness. Analyze and provide insights on portfolio mix, channel profitability, investment corridors, pricing strategy, promotional planning, trade terms, and total trade cost (cost-to-serve). Lead and support budgeting and forecasting for sales and trade investments, ensuring alignment with commercial and corporate objectives. Monitor and report on trade spending and commercial selling costs (fixed and variable). Drive resource optimization to improve return on investment. Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain Finance, and Shared Services teams to ensure consistency in financial planning and reporting. Qualifications What you need to have: Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Net Revenue Management, or Pricing/Revenue Growth Management in an FMCG environment (preferably food & beverage). Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred. Strong working knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems. Proven experience partnering with commercial teams, including Sales, Trade Marketing, and RTM. Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect insights across multiple data sources and see the big picture. Deep understanding of trade terms, price architecture, investment ROI, and route-to-market strategies. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills—especially in cross-functional and cross-geography settings. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. What makes you stand out?
