The Finance Business Partner, Commercial Market/Country, is responsible for partnering with the Finance Business Partner and business leaders to deliver on the business’s financial objectives and commitments across the Commercial Market/Country. This commercially focused role monitors financial performance, analyzes results and defines corrective actions. The role supports strategic and tactical planning as well as annual and quarterly financial forecasts. Additionally, you will evaluate and shape commercial opportunities to ensure profitable growth and maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Your role:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in financial planning and analysis, providing expertise in complex financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case development. Partners closely with the lead Finance Business Partner (FBP) in supporting senior leadership to shape business strategy through advanced financial insights, risk and opportunity identification, and integration of financial considerations into key decisions. Supports the evaluation and prioritization of investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
Drives continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and systems by identifying gaps and contributing to cross-functional initiatives. Ensures adherence to internal controls, corporate governance policies, and regulatory requirements, while identifying areas for improvement in financial practices. Supports the structuring of commercial opportunities and the evaluation of proposals to ensure profitability targets are achieved. Collaborates closely with Contracts, Legal and business leadership to shape the financial terms and conditions of commercial agreements.
Collaborates closely with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, evaluate financial results and build reporting presentations. Supports the design and execution of complex financial models to assess strategic options such as market entry. Collaborates on cross-functional initiatives, ensuring financial goals are integrated into broader business strategies.
You are the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 5+ years and a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with Masters’ degree in areas such as Business Partnering, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis or equivalent. Also, progressively relevant commercial finance experience gained in a large multinational environment or the Big 4 (EY, Deloitte, KPMG or PWC), highly preferred.
Your skills include a commercial background (required) with the ability to partner with management at all levels and to lead major projects and initiatives, intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends & analysis through data, ability to balance speed and accuracy, while working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to prepare deliverables.
You have a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $124,000 to $197,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives, may be offered.
