Eaton Corporation is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst for our Distributed IT organization, part of the Electrical Sector – Americas business. This role will be based in Woodridge, IL!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93,750 - $137,500 a year.

What you’ll do:As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be a direct business partner to our Sales & Marketing organization within our division to drive profitable growth by leading revenue planning and product optimization activities. You will focus on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, assessing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to optimize profitability and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute revenue strategies.
In this role, you will:
• Initiate and oversee profitability management projects, analyzing various revenue streams to identify optimization opportunities.
• Utilize data to influence cross-functional teams and build consensus.
• Lead product optimization initiatives through rigorous financial analysis and market research to identify growth and improvement areas.
• Perform comprehensive sales and incentives analysis to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of incentive programs.
• Provide strategic advice on pricing strategies based on market trends, cost structures, and the competitive landscape.
• Direct data review and analysis activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Manage the collection and dissemination of key financial data to relevant stakeholders.
• Examine deals and contracts to assess their financial implications and offer recommendations for optimal outcomes.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum three (3) years’ work experience in finance or business.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
