Responsibilities:

Support the development of robust financial models that drive business performance and contribute to the ongoing management of the rolling forecast process. Collaborate closely with the Commercial Finance team to shape and execute group strategy as well as the annual budgeting process, taking ownership of key deliverables and contributing to modelling assumptions. Maintain proactive communication with the wider finance team to ensure timely delivery of outputs while adapting responsively to shifting priorities and deadlines. Deliver daily reports that are accurate, timely, and effectively reflect group performance across all relevant business areas. Support the period-end process by delivering complete and accurate management accounts for central overhead functions within the organisation. Work alongside the Financial Accounting team to prepare and deliver insightful Group Board reports that inform high-level decision-making. Produce concise, visually compelling financial reports that provide both historical context and forward-looking insights for stakeholders. Ensure effective maintenance of all financial reporting and consolidation systems by collaborating with internal IT teams to resolve any issues promptly. Create presentations that clearly convey key messages in an easy-to-interpret format requiring minimal further clarification or analysis. Provide commercial stakeholder support by partnering with colleagues across finance and other functional teams to develop strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Ideal Candidate:

Expert-level proficiency in financial modelling with advanced Excel skills demonstrated by building accurate models from scratch. Progress towards a professional accountancy qualification (preferably at finalist level), showing ambition to become fully qualified soon. Strong presentation abilities with experience creating clear, concise materials that communicate insights without need for further explanation. A commercially minded approach combined with analytical curiosity enabling interpretation of data and formulation of meaningful recommendations. Meticulous attention to detail paired with a proactive attitude and approachable demeanour when solving problems or addressing challenges. Hands-on experience using ERP systems such as Oracle along with familiarity in utilising various financial software tools and applications. Excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate effectively across finance teams as well as other business functions. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while remaining responsive under tight deadlines or changing circumstances. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning through on-the-job training or pursuit of additional qualifications.
