About the Role

The Commercial Excellence Analyst is responsible for maintaining India Sales Ops rigour and hygiene, transforming data into actionable intelligence, and providing commercial insights to support effective business decisions. Leveraging strong business acumen and best-in-class analytics tools, this role will design, implement, and maintain sales reporting and analysis to drive business performance.

What You’ll Do

Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze sales data to identify trends and assess performance against targets. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, pipeline analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting accuracy. Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.

Automation: Identify opportunities to improve information delivery, data capture, and business processes by developing technical solutions that automate manual work and drive efficiencies.

Salesforce Hygiene Tracking: Maintain CRM reports/dashboards to monitor and improve India pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy. Recommend interventions where needed.

GTM Execution: Use analytics to inform the India GTM plan. Support execution through planning across customer segmentation, account potential calibration, coverage model design, sales target allocation, territory design, and ongoing performance management.

Master Data Management (MDM): Manage the Customer Master Database for India, ensuring high data quality and resolving discrepancies. Implement ongoing monitoring, cleanup, and robust data governance.

Sales Strategy Support: Support development and implementation of sales strategies. Partner with cross-functional teams to align with broader business objectives.

Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional Commercial Excellence stakeholders, as well as India Commercial and BU teams, to drive strategic initiatives.

What Excites Us

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; engineering background preferred. MBA is a plus (but not required).

3-4 years of experience in data analysis or data science, with exposure to Sales Operations or Revenue Operations being a strong plus. Must be open to opportunities in sales operations.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Advanced knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce – B2B preferred) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to drill into tactical considerations to ensure accuracy in deliverables.

Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Demonstrated ability to lead by influence across functions, cultures, and matrixed organizations.
