What you'll do:

In the capacity of Commercial Dispute Senior Solicitor, you will:

Provide considered dispute resolution and litigation counsel to a wide array of clients including corporates, SMEs, and family-owned businesses across multiple sectors. Oversee a varied caseload encompassing commercial disputes such as contractual disagreements between businesses as well as professional negligence claims. Engage constructively in mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes to secure favourable outcomes for clients whilst upholding strong professional relationships. Collaborate closely with colleagues across several offices within the Commercial Dispute Resolution team to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination. Contribute meaningfully to business development initiatives by nurturing existing client relationships and identifying avenues for new engagements. Deliver consistently high standards of client service by remaining responsive, organised, and attentive throughout each phase of the dispute process. Prioritise tasks judiciously in order to meet multiple deadlines efficiently within a demanding legal environment. Support junior colleagues through mentoring activities and the sharing of expertise when appropriate. Participate actively in regular team meetings, training sessions, and firm-wide networking events to foster a sense of community within the organisation.

What you bring:

To excel as a Commercial Dispute Senior Solicitor within this esteemed practice, you will bring:

Possession of at least three years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial dispute resolution or litigation within a reputable law firm setting. Demonstrable proficiency in managing complex commercial disputes including contractual disagreements and professional negligence claims on behalf of corporate clients. A proven ability to operate both autonomously on individual caseloads as well as collaboratively within broader team structures spanning multiple office locations. Exemplary interpersonal skills which enable you to establish rapport swiftly with clients whilst maintaining enduring professional relationships founded upon trust. Outstanding organisational capabilities allowing for effective management of competing priorities under stringent deadlines without compromising quality. Experience participating in mediation or alternative dispute resolution processes with demonstrably positive outcomes for clients is highly desirable. A steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional client care through clear communication, empathy, responsiveness, and meticulous attention to detail at all times. Willingness to engage in business development activities such as networking events or client presentations as part of ongoing growth strategies.
