About this Role
Reporting to Managing Director Korea, the purpose of the role is to bring our sales & commercial capability in Korea to a world class standard, and to deliver breakthrough business performance through effective customer management and cross functional ways of working that fit for the purpose of transformation in line with market evolvement.
You will be responsible for:
Managing entire commercial organization for on trade, off trade and commercial excellence teamObtain and apply facts and data to drive excellence in planning, decision making and performance measure for Diageo Korea to guide the organization aheadTranslate the business strategy into implementation plan by setting the milestones and drive the highest standards of execution throughout the business and lead the transformation for the entire commercial unitMotivate the sales organization with a clear and powerful trade strategy, building strong and supportive trade relationships at senior and industry level with upholding Diageo brandsEstablish and maintain excellence in the areas of customer, shopper and category insight, to inspire the breakthrough activations that motivate the organization to exceed goalsLead the commercial team by example and act as role model, to keep developing and upskill the commercial team to ensure both commercial and talents prospectFoster outstanding collaboration and build relationships internally and externally as a thoughtful and strategic business partner, to position our best brands in front of every customer and consumerTo be successful in this role, you will need:
Strong track record as commercial leadership in FMCG(fast moving consumer goods) industry leading transformation journey in developing categories, channels and consumer segmentsPossess the proven experiences staying close with business and team in the front, to capture the engaging customers and consumers during the transformation journey by propositioning strategy partnership and to meet unmet demandsExposure across different channels and different levels of customer sophistication (e.g. Key Accounts, On Premise, Wholesaler), the vision into E-commerce is appreciatedConsummate know-how of channel, pricing, consumer& customer, and the masterful negotiation skills to navigate the commercial success with customerSelf-motivating and positive character to engage the customers and consumers and inspire the team to challenge the status quo and achieve beyondWorking with Us
