Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for commercial banking operations? Our financial customer is seeking a Commercial Collateral Operations Specialist to support their mission of being the most attentive, knowledgeable, and high-performing bank for our clients, teammates, and shareholders. This position is hybrid where you will be required to be onsite in Farmington Hills, MI for 3 days a week and remote for 2 days. What You’ll Do: As a key member of our Commercial Operations team, you’ll: + Process and manage a variety of commercial collateral requests with precision and timeliness. + Review loan documentation and verify MAP Authority for collateral release. + Prepare and file UCC terminations, discharges, and other release documents. + Index and image supporting documents into OnBase. + Audit stock and bond portfolios semiannually. + Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve escalated issues. + Maintain workflow logs and contribute to team meetings and strategy sessions. ️ Skills & Tools You’ll Use: + Commercial loan documentation (AOR, UCC filings) + MAP Authority verification + Microsoft Outlook and Excel + Horizon core banking system, OnBase, Simplifile, Wolters Kluwer Solutions + Government entity recording platforms What We’re Looking For: + Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial collateral, loans, or documentation + Hands-on experience perfecting and releasing commercial collateral are a MUST! + Strong organizational and time management skills + Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities + Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: + 3–5 years of relevant experience with perfecting and releasing commercial collateral. + Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with banking systems Interviews take place this week so if you feel like you are a perfect fit here, please apply and also email your resume to me at aelya@ teksystems.com!
