Job Title: Commercial Carpenter - up to $37/hr

Job Description

As a Commercial Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various general carpentry duties related to commercial projects. You will work closely with a team of carpenters and a foreman to ensure high-quality construction and fit-out projects.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to execute projects accurately.Perform selective hand demolition as required.Engage in rough wood carpentry tasks.Complete millwork and finish carpentry with precision.Hang drywall and perform taping, spackling, and finishing.Execute metal stud framing with expertise.Install ACT ceilings and acoustical ceilings efficiently.Install doors, frames, and hardware with attention to detail.Utilize hand and electric tools safely and effectively.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential SkillsProficiency in framing techniques.Experience with metal stud and acoustic ceiling installations.Expertise in commercial carpentry and drywall applications.Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with steel studs is highly desirable.Work Environment

Work hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Dress code: High-vis gear, jeans, hard hat, and safety boots

Project types: Primarily fit-outs with occasional new

construction

Team setup: Small groups with 1–2 carpenters and a foreman

Culture: Friendly, respectful, and cooperative

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $37.00/hr.
