**Position Summary:**
Within the Nutrition business unit, the plant-based protein business has a mission to be the global leader in non-meat based proteins, developing novel solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers. The Soy Flour & Grits and CoProducts Business Manager will execute its growth plan as well as be responsible for driving the overall performance of the flour & grits business and optimize CoProducts revenue. Additionally, the position will interact with global colleagues, including sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, operations, regulatory, legal and technical services. The position reports directly to the VP, Protein North America and will be located in Decatur, IL
**Responsibilities:**
+ Contribute to a zero is possible driven colleague safety and food safety culture.
+ Assist in the development of the annual strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives.
+ Collaborate with all company functions to drive growth initiatives
+ Work with leadership to establish goals and objectives and guide the business during stable or changing market conditions
+ Determine go-to-market strategies for the business and drive growth projects, including new products.
+ Perform competitive intelligence analysis and identify potential merger and acquisition opportunities.
+ Identify and understand key drivers for markets which your product line serves, using this information to maximize profitability and cash flow.
+ Provide leadership to drive supply chain strategy and collaborative efforts inside and outside of ADM, managing all phases of the business through to approval and implementation.
+ Drive sales through successful collaboration with ADM sales force, business development, operations, technical services, CD&D as well as R & D.
+ Collaborate with various colleagues including supply chain in daily decision making.
+ Support global sales force by providing product information and addressing specific customer needs.
+ Drive revenue of CoProducts by finding new uses and diversifying the customer base
+ Back up to other protein business managers in their absence.
**Requirements:**
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
+ Exhibits strong leadership and project management skills
+ Entrepreneurial owners mindset
+ Excellent collaborator and team player
+ Demonstrates ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility to adjust to achieve organizational goals in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization
+ Ability to solve problems independently
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft programs
+ The position requires 20% travel and a strong work ethic
**Required Experience:**
+ Minimum of 3 years of P&L management experience
+ Experience developing business strategies
+ Experience in Go to Market strategies
+ Food Ingredient technical acumen
+ Strategic “hunter” mentality

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$92,800.00 - $172,900.00
**Salaried Incentive Plan:**
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
