What you'll do If you're passionate about aviation and love turning data into decisions, this is where you can truly make an impact. You’ll focus on bridging the gap between the business area and the technical teams, by developing business requirements and helping drive system implementations. You will play an important role in documenting current process, making suggestion for improvements and taking a lead role in defining and driving the roadmap. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the support teams have the data needed to drive operations. This role is part of the commercial aviation team leveraging the Salesforce team to implement the business area requirements. The day-to-day Translate business needs into functional requirements for Salesforce through user feedback and personally identified areas for business process enhancement. Identify pain points for users, work to streamline the data flows, and identify opportunities for automation. Conduct user acceptance testing for any new feature implementation or enhancement. Prioritize JIRA tickets for the Salesforce team based on the business needs and resource availability. Maintain updated documentation of Salesforce processes and training materials. Deliver training sessions and materials to onboard new Customer Success Managers (CSM) and sales team members, ensuring ongoing user adoption. Provide dashboard views in Tableau to communicate customized view of the data. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within Salesforce and business process. What you'll need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 2-3+ years of Salesforce experience driving requirements for designing and configuring Salesforce objects and workflows. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Tableau etc. 1-2 years of Program/Project Management. Exposure to business process creation and optimization. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required. What will help you on the job Technical Tools: Experience with Tableau Desktop, SQL, Snowflake, Python, PowerBI. Aviation Experience: Previous commercial aviation or in-flight connectivity experience. Salary range $64,500.00 - $102,000.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $80,000.00- $120,000.00/ annually At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience.
