Commercial Analyst (Sales & Marketing Finance)

What You Will Do:

Consolidate the components of US Retail Gross Margins for the budget, monthly forecast and actuals (standard cost; outbound transportation; warranty, etc.) Coordinate with Brand Finance to assess the financial impact of new vehicles, purchased vehicles (e.g., Alfa Romeo), future pricing plans and product actions. Assist in period-to-period explanations and vehicle option take rate investigations. Financial reporting involving the calculation and validation of company car margins. Support Company Car close activities including: IFRS16 right of use asset creation, and inventory account reconciliations. Perform pro-forma pricing calculations to support Fast Feedback quality units within the Company Car Fleet

Strong understanding of the commercial side of the organization Understanding of vehicle unitary margins and the respective inputs Analytical review of period-to-period variances and explanations Understanding of the Company Car program, and how it supports our employees and the company Develop relationships both within Finance (Commercial, FP&A, Brand, etc.) and Operations (Sales & Marketing)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; or related Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience  Familiarity with audit, SOX and internal controls Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel (Pivot Tables), and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP, Essbase and HFM/OneStream Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase Accounting and/or platform finance experience a plus Proven oral and written communications skills Demonstrated analytical skills Ability to multitask and adapt easily to change, including priority of assignments. Ability to work with large volumes of data, summarize data and draw conclusions
