The Xbox Special and Limited Edition team creates a portfolio of groundbreaking gaming accessories that are custom flavored to reflect a diverse range of gaming expressions. We bring the standard black and white accessories to life through graphics and special finishes. We are looking for a **Color Material Graphics Designer** who can blend the powers of graphic design, aesthetic trend studies, and color material finish design with 3D product. This designer will conceptualize custom designs in the form of renderings, work with our world class model shop to create samples and finish references, liaison with our manufacturing team in China, and bring final products to fans with stories told in partnership with our Marketing team.

**Responsibilities**
+ Takes lead on design workflows for Special Edition development and Limited Edition partnership opportunities.
+ Translates aesthetic and cultural trends into unique color material finish solutions for Xbox products by blending trend study, creativity, visualizations, and production knowledge.
+ Develops quick knowledge of partner subject matter for any collaborative work.
+ Works with model shop to create finish samples and color targets.
+ Creates production specs that bring multiple manufacturing techniques and graphics together.
+ Partners with global color material finish team to guide production sample creation.
+ Presents samples to partner teams, and revises files and samples per feedback.
+ Partners with multiple Brand render teams to provide feedback, ensuring accurate visualization of production parts for all go to market assets.
+ Owns and manages design project schedules from end to end
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design
+ OR equivalent experience
+ 2 years+ of experience in CMYK print file setup.2 years+ of experience in color trend and color application design.
+ 3+ years Adobe Creative Cloud experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Demonstrated knowledge of color, material, and finish implementation processes used in consumer electronics and soft goods industries.
+ Experience in file set up for print production / experience with print production.
+ Keyshot skills, or desire to learn -Leadership and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally across Marketing, Production, and Brand visualization teams.
Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
