Job Purpose: To work on the color matching of new color development and customer line service focusing on the OEM/APAD segment.
General Description: Make sure the lab work requested has been done and response to the requesters within agreed time.
Key Challenges (in first 6 – 12months): Understanding all customer process mapping.
Core Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for color development and also technical service for all new color projects to meet the requirements of customers and also follow to GAOD protocol. He should conduct the First Lot Control to make sure that any new or modified formula will be under good control. He is sometimes visit customer to do the line trial and solve the problems with/without TSR team. The incumbent will be responsible (manage, control and distribute) all document/information which related to the PPG Products/Materials. Cooperate in quality system activity eg. ISO9001, ISO14001, TIS18001, ISO16949. The other assignments from supervisor are including into the responsibility for this position.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Requirements to do the job, and qualifications)
Experience: Should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in coatings manufactured business or related field.
Knowledge: Science-Match graduate or a similar subject.
Skills (functional competences and capabilities): Basic of making paint and lab properties test. Paint color matching formulating concept and customer line and service protocol.
Leadership Competencies (refer to appendix) leadership skill is much appreciate.
Other Requirements: (% of Travel involved specific certification, mobility, etc.): 5-10% travelling to customer’s line visit.
