What a College Intern - Electrical Hardware Engineering does at HP:

Acquires practical experience working on Electronics/Electrical Design & Testing.​Work closely with R&D team to develop practical test board in a true R&D environment based on required product requirement.Generating useful test scripts to support an automated test environment.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

Electrical or Electronics Engineering undergraduate or relevant education background.Able to commit to a 5 to 6-month full-time internship, starting in January 2026.Basic knowledge in CAD software for schematic capture.Basic programming know-how and hand-on experience.Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Able to work independently (self-driven) and within a team environment.Knowledge of electronic principles.

Interest in one or more of the following areas:

Electronics Circuit & System Design, Troubleshooting and Validation.PCB design, Process Set-up and Fabrication of Test board.Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).Test Automation development using scripting ( e.g Python/Visual Basic ).Practical experience in AI/ ChatGPT application development to support engineering problem analysis.
