What a College Intern – Manufacturing Engineer in Supply Chain does at HP:

Collaborate with a team of engineers, internal and outsourced manufacturing partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for our Laser Printers.Participates in concurrent projects covering current production, sustainability and New Product Introduction.Innovates, develops, applies data science techniques to define and improve manufacturing processes through methodical approach, data mining, statistical analysis, and by building high-quality prediction systems.Develop skill sets and promotes a mindset of Digitalization, Advance Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutions within the organization.Explores and gains hands-on experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence projects.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.Able to commit for a full time internship for 5-6 months, starting in January 2026.Growth & innovative mindset. Collaborative spirit. Proficiency with tools used to analyze data and develop algorithms and statistical analytics solutions such as Minitab, excel, Python.Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Experience with or understanding of appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.Coding knowledge will be an added advantage.
