Job Description
The Collections Specialist will manage customer deductions by collecting and organizing documentation such as invoices and proof of delivery. This role involves assisting with pricing and research analysis to resolve discrepancies and maintaining accurate records of open deductions. The candidate will collaborate across departments—including Collections, Sales, and Transportation—as well as with external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role serves as a key point of contact for customer deduction inquiries.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and organize customer deductions documentation, including invoices and proof of delivery.
+ Assist with pricing and research analysis to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
+ Maintain accurate records of open deductions.
+ Collaborate with Collections, Sales, and Transportation departments, as well as external stakeholders.
+ Serve as a key point of contact for customer deduction inquiries.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in deductions and collections.
+ Proficiency in working with pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel.
+ Experience with large scale ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Infor, D365, or JD Edwards.
Work Environment
The role requires working onsite on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with remote work for the remaining three days. During the first month of training, an additional onsite day may be required. Work hours are flexible, starting between 7am and 9am, and ending at 3pm. This is a Contract position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
