TEKsystems is hiring Delinquency Control Counselors to work with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in Pensacola, FL! Overview To control/collect on past due Consumer Loans and Credit Card accounts by all government and banking rules and regulations. Responsibilities + Provide members with financial counseling and mitigate losses for the credit union. + Contact delinquent members in an attempt to cure delinquency utilizing all payment options and loss mitigation tools offered by the credit union + Obtain detailed financial information from delinquent members and analyze information gathered to determine optimal solutions for curing delinquency + Notate in Collection systems members’ arrangements, reason(s) for delinquency, and any offered charge-off alternatives + Offer short/long-term solutions including repayment plans, promises-to-pay, loan modifications, refinances, personal finance management, and deferral programs Experience + 2-3 years of recent experience working in a customer service environment (call center, sales, retail, restaurants, etc.) + Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone + Professional written and verbal communication + Experience in collections or banking is a plus! Hours: Must be available Monday - Saturday, 11:30 am - 8:00 pm Sundays off & one weekday off Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
