Collections Representative
Job Title: Collections RepresentativeJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Representative to manage and enhance the collection efforts for our team. The ideal candidate will develop effective collection methods to achieve financial goals and resolve accounts receivable challenges.

ResponsibilitiesHandle the collection efforts of meaningful accounts within the team's book of business.Develop collection methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goals.Address A/R-related problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as necessary.Ensure timely follow-up and completion of cash allocation within the book of business.Send invoices to government customers through online portals or emails and complete necessary government invoicing processes to ensure compliance and acceptance.Collaborate with the Sales team to meet customer requests.Identify issues contributing to account past dues and communicate with management and the sales department to escalate the collection process when necessary.Evaluate sensitive customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and build positive working relationships internally and externally.Essential Skills3+ years of Business to Business (B2B) Collections experience.High School Diploma.Reconciliation experience (from purchase order to cash).Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Experience with accounts receivable, reconciliation, accounting, billing collections, and customer service.Additional Skills & QualificationsCollege education is a plus.Experience with ERP or CRM systems, specifically AS400, iSeries, PeopleSoft, or Salesforce.Government industry experience, particularly federal, is advantageous.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Strong organizational skills with adaptability to change.Ability to prioritize and multitask.Strong analytical skills with critical attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to work independently with management support.Work Environment

The position is based in Hills, with a hybrid work setup of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The role involves more communication through emails than phone calls, but collections calls are also necessary. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
