Overview
The Account Specialist is responsible for managing medium‑ to high‑complexity customer accounts, ensuring accurate billing, timely issue resolution, and seamless communication between internal teams and clients. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Billing Support
+ Manage assigned customer accounts ranging from moderate to complex billing requirements.
+ Process approximately 250 invoices per day, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
+ Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by partnering with billing, operations, and logistics teams.
+ Develop corrective action plans for recurring or complex billing issues.
Reporting & Data Management
+ Run and format daily queries using company‑specific software/tools to monitor productivity and generate reports.
+ Create, update, and maintain account balance spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and V‑lookups.
+ Document all work performed on customer accounts daily and update information in the financial system for management review.
Communication & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
+ Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve billing and service conflicts.
+ Communicate professionally via email to address customer questions, collect missing information, and ensure accurate billing.
+ Collaborate with collections and logistics teams to support account reconciliation and workflow alignment.

+ ERP/financial systems (Oracle preferred)
+ Logistics industry familiarity
Required Qualifications
+ Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and V‑lookups
+ Experience with high‑volume invoice processing
+ Email communication expertise
+ Prior experience with collections or account reconciliation
+ Logistics or transportation industry experience (preferred but not required)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
