Collections Representative

Seeking Remote Collections Specialists for a Laboratory and Sciences Company!!

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collections Representative to join our finance team at a laboratory and sciences company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. You will work closely with internal departments and external customers to resolve billing issues, reconcile accounts, and support overall cash flow objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesContact customers regarding overdue invoices and negotiate payment arrangements.Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accurate account reconciliation.Document collection activities and maintain detailed records of communications.Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.Support month-end closing processes and reporting.Qualifications3+ years of experience in B2B collections, accounts receivable, or a related financial role.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma required; associate degree or higher in finance or business is a plus.

Work Environment

Fully remote position, equipment provided to employees prior to role beginning.Able to sit anywhere in the U.S.Must be able to work between the core business hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM CSTCompany is based out of St. Paul, MN

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
