Collections Representative
C.H. Robinson is seeking a **Collections Representative** to join our dynamic Robinson Fresh Financial Operations team. In this impactful role, you’ll help ensure the financial health of our growing Managed Procurement business by resolving outstanding accounts receivable issues and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. As a Collections Representative, you will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, and play a key role in keeping cash flow moving. If you enjoy solving problems, working with people, and being part of a fast-paced, evolving environment, this is the opportunity for you. **Apply today and help us shape a more efficient and customer-focused future in supply chain finance.** **Responsibilities:** The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: + Investigate and resolve aging invoices by identifying root causes and applying critical thinking + Leverage internal systems and processes to manage collections and ensure timely payments + Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain strong working relationships + Escalate complex issues to senior team members or leadership when necessary + Contribute ideas for process improvements and support continuous enhancement of collections workflows + Participate in cross-functional training to gain exposure to related areas such as accounts payable and invoicing + Continue developing knowledge of collections processes and financial systems + Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent + Minimum 2 years of experience in collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable, or a related finance role **Preferred Qualifications:** The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: + Utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills to determine root cause of aging invoices + Leverage systems functionality and established processes to resolve aging invoices + Work within established procedures and adheres to quality guidelines + Escalate complex issues to senior team members and/or leadership + Contribute ideas for process improvement + Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers, maintain open lines of communication and build rapport by providing timely and professional service + Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of collections process + Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements **QUALIFICATIONS** Required: + High School Diploma or GED equivalent + Minimum 2 years of collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable or related finance experience Preferred: + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs + Effective and flexible communication skills + Strong customer service and interpersonal skills + Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to use own judgement and make sound decisions + Ability to work in fast-paced, professional, and deadline driven environment + Values a diverse and inclusive work environment We will review applications for this role on an ongoing basis and encourage all interested candidates to apply at their earliest convenience. **Compensation Range** $13.85 - $26.83 The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations.
