Job Description
As a Collections Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by engaging with clients to secure timely payments and resolve any concerns. You will be responsible for managing billing discrepancies, reducing past-due balances, and maintaining account currency. Additionally, you will handle cash application errors and resolve chargeback deductions, while also contributing to special projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities
+ Contact clients via phone/email to secure timely payments and resolve concerns.
+ Identify and correct billing discrepancies.
+ Proactively reduce past-due balances and maintain account currency.
+ Detect and resolve cash application errors.
+ Investigate and resolve chargeback deductions.
+ Handle special projects and contribute to process improvements.
+ Work with internal teams and customers to provide effective solutions.
+ Issue and distribute invoices.
+ Process new contracts and sales.
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
+ Address customer complaints and questions.
+ Keep track of accounts receivable and transactions.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in accounting, invoicing, data entry, and billing systems.
+ Strong skills in Excel, including the use of formulas.
+ Accuracy in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, collection, and bookkeeping.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance OR relevant work experience.
+ 3+ years of billing experience in a high-volume setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
