Manager RN is responsible for leading the successful development and delivery of the customer focused clinical programs of Colleague Health Services for the East Region of Hartford HealthCare The Colleague Health Services Manager provides consultative support and leads others to promote the health and safety of all colleagues While ensuing regulatory compliance with OSHA Standards CDC Guidelines and applicable federalstate guidance for healthcare workersResponsibilities include but are not limited to the followingProvides direction and oversight for the daily operations of Colleague Health ServicesAdministers and coordinates health promotion programs and illnessinjury prevention programs to prevent occupational injury and health problems Programs include universal vaccination respiratory protection tuberculosis surveillance blood borne pathogens hearing conservation and environmental safetyDevelops improves and coordinates procedures for pre employment examinations Monitors the timely medical clearance for all new colleaguesPartners with diverse teams and leaders across the organization on system wide programs and initiativesMonitors and audits
