Skills and Requirements A client in the greater Franklin, TN area is seeking a mid to senior-level ColdFusion to work on our Enterprise Web Application. Must have excellent SQL Server Database skills and must have very strong problem-solving skills. We are looking for someone with solid experience working on complex web applications. As part of a development technology team, perform feature development and hot fixes on our information systems. Analyze needs. Design and develop software written in ColdFusion and SQL. Major responsibilities include ColdFusion and SQL background with the following application characteristics:  Customer Facing  High Transaction Volume  Mission Critical Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions: 1. Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and subsystems. 2. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code. 3. Recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with modern technologies. 4. Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. 5. Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems. 6. Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts. 7. Reviews test results: documents test activities, and records remedial actions. 8. Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage. 9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 10. Mentors and provides guidance to the team of developers both internal and external. 11. Familiarity with Azure Pipelines is a plus.
