**Job Summary** Manpower is recruiting for a building Maintenance Worker performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of public housing units and related facilities. This position ensures housing properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents by responding to work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting emergency repairs as needed. Pay is $25.00 per hour **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant housing units, including: + Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and basic electrical work + Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently + Prepare vacant units for new occupancy, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and inspections + Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively + Identify maintenance issues requiring specialized contractors and report findings to supervisors + Follow all applicable safety regulations, building codes, and housing standards + Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent + Interact professionally and respectfully with residents, staff, and the public + Perform related duties as assigned **Minimum Qualifications** + One (3) year or more of experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related trade preferred + Working knowledge of general maintenance practices and repair techniques + Ability to follow written and verbal instructions + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Why should you choose Manpower? + Free training to upgrade your skills, including a free college tuition program + Medical, dental, vision, 401k + Weekly pay with direct deposit + 24/7 Manpower customer care support + Dedicated Career Partner to help you achieve your career goals + Voted #1 best places to work by Glassdoor 2021 Are you Interested?
