Job Title: Coatings HelperJob Description

Join our finishing department as a Coatings Helper where you will utilize a powder coating spray system to finish steel parts for outdoor and weatherproof coatings. You will also be responsible for baking parts to achieve the correct finishing hardness.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize a powder coating spray system to apply coatings to steel parts.Ensure proper baking of parts to achieve desired finishing hardness.Assist in the finishing department with various tasks as needed.Read and interpret drawings and blueprints for accurate work execution.Operate shop tools such as drills, saws, and woodworking equipment.Essential SkillsExperience with powder coating applications.Proficiency in painting and using wet paint spray systems.Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.Experience with shop tools such as drills and saws.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of woodworking techniques.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a back shop setting that is open to the elements, meaning it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The company manufactures a wide range of products, including park benches, playground equipment, fitness equipment, slides, and trash cans, serving clients nationwide.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
