Co-Op Program manager
**Introduction** The Program Manager will oversee the IBM Co-Op Program in partnership with Penn State, ensuring a high-quality experience for both students and IBM teams. This role is responsible for end-to-end program management, including recruitment coordination, student engagement, stakeholder alignment, and reporting on program outcomes. The Program Manager will act as the primary liaison between IBM, Penn State, and participating students. **Your role and responsibilities** The Program Manager will oversee the IBM Co-Op Program in partnership with Penn State, ensuring a high-quality experience for both students and IBM teams. This role is responsible for end-to-end program management, including recruitment coordination, student engagement, stakeholder alignment, and reporting on program outcomes. The Program Manager will act as the primary liaison between IBM, Penn State, and participating students. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Bachelor’s degree++ in business, technical, HR, education, or related field; advanced degree prefered * 12+ years of experience in program management, talent development, or university relations * Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and foster collaboration across teams * Familiarity with university recruiting and early-career development programs preferred **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Lead program planning, scheduling, and execution across academic semesters * Coordinate recruitment, application review, and selection with university partners * Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and IBM leaders * Monitor student progress and provide support to maximize learning and impact * Track and report program metrics, ensuring alignment with IBM talent pipeline needs * Organize information sessions, onboarding, and networking opportunities IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
