Role and responsibilities
This Co-Op reports to the Manager of the Office and Lab Space Support team. Through effective collaboration and innovation, the team supports the Wilton R&D community with strategic and logistical tools to create a roadmap of office and industrial space needs, run a tool center with a portfolio of tools, and achieve optimized processes amidst changing business needs. We are currently searching for a highly motivated, self-starter who can help our team provide effective coordination and analysis.
As a Co-op Business Process Analyst, your responsibilities include:
Leading, supporting end to end trouble shooting of issues that affect space planning and tool management processesDrive, facilitate and evaluate various non-product planning needsAnalyze problems and set priorities between different alternatives or deliverablesSpecify and maintain space planning data sources, procedures and guidelinesEnsure data integrity and effective data management practicesModel the impacts of a variety of business decisions, obtain stakeholder buy-in and develop reporting to communicate resultsServe as an analytical and process “hub”; provide guidance and training to R&D staff regarding planning processes and toolsDefine, plan, manage and coordinate assigned projects to ensure execution and deliveryAct as a recognized business partner by enabling effective decision making on all levelsPro-actively assist, enable and challenge all stakeholdersProvide guidance to R&D stakeholders around standard process and proactively develop continuous improvement strategiesBuild and maintains relationships with R&D project teams to ensure effective collaborationContribute to the team by living the 3Cs (challenge, collaborate, care) and building a sustaining functionEducation and experience
Pursing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD Degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, Information Technology or Computer Science with minimum 2 years completed (Must be a current student and pursuing a degree)Experience in administrative or project managementExperience within matrix organizations or technical/engineering environmentsExperience or knowledge in process mappingProcess development, execution and management knowledgeProficiency (expert) in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Forms (Power BI, Spotfire skills a plus)Experience building and maintaining SharePoint sitesAbility to solve problems and implement solutions to complex problems with available resourcesAttention to detail and continuous improvement mindsetExcellent communication and influencing skills – written and verbalSelf-motivated and flexible to changing priorities and project needsAbility to achieve short/mid-term results while maintaining focus on long-term strategySkills

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
