Key Responsibilities: + Participate in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budget. + Monitor progress, identifies, and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules and ensure smooth project operations. + Prepare and present status and technical content to IPT Level + Gathers data to monitor project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specification to facilitate operations and ensure that established objectives and budgets are achieved. + Supports engineering change execution and sustainment. + Maintains plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure established targets are met. + Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation plan as needed. + Responsible for project assignments with various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives. + Support military budget EVMS activities. + English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English **Qualifications You Must Have** + Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum GPA of 3.0 **Qualifications We Prefer** + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative + A passion for learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace. + Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challenges. + Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share your knowledge with others. **Learn More & Apply Now!** Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products. Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition. This position is classified as hybrid.
