Our client, a growing high-tech metal fabrication contract manufacturer, is seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to make decisions, and a safety-conscious mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** CNC Vertical Mill Machinist
**Location:** Hanover, PA
**What's the Job?**
+ Receive work instructions, prints, and routers for the job.
+ Utilize measuring devices such as protractors, calipers, and micrometers to check and verify accuracy of work.
+ Set up punch press tooling and program the operation of a CNC punch press.
+ Read part drawings and understand tolerance requirements.
+ Perform daily maintenance of machines and tooling as required.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1 year or more of CNC vertical mill operations or relatable experience.
+ Ability to utilize common measurement devices and read blueprints.
+ Knowledge of cnc operations and material limitations.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
+ Safety and quality conscious mindset.
