JSG is hiring a CNC Programmer - Aerospace in Downers Grove, IL.
 

Job Duties:
5+ years Esprit experience, multi-axis, spindle and swiss. DMG Mori is a strong plus  Ability to write programs that will machine complex parts to very close tolerances on multiple axes on various machining centers. Horizontal Machining Centers including Macro, sub program and variable programming knowledge. 4 axis lathes, 5 axis lathes, Y axis lathes, and Vertical Machining Centers large and small Kaizen participation such as SMDE, VSM, 5s Maintain program library's and revision status of program revisions per NADCAP requirements. Hands on knowledge of the programs storage and the ability to assist shop associates in uploading and downloading programs Bachelor degree in a technical field desired or 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial technical field, programming CNC equipment is required Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment Ability to extract critical data and analyze data to make informed business decisions Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus Excellent computer skills (CAD/CAM, Esprit, Solid Works, MasterCam, word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, etc.) Skilled in- G and M code editing, Macro style programming, multi axis function(s) and Fanuc/Okuma/Mitsubishi CELOS controllers Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management Self-starter working with little direct supervision Team orientated with the ability to influence others without authority
